I have always had in interest in seeing different parts of the world as much as possible, this spiralled from being fortunate enough to see many locations from a younger age. Travelling can be somewhat luxurious for some people and tends to often be a break from time at home to relax and recharge from busy lives. However, some of the locations I have visited have had a different approach, having visited places such as Gambia. When preparing this trip we took over essential school items such as books, pens and paper in preparation for visiting schools out there. At this point my experience on holidays took a completely different approach, It became a real eye opener to the challenges other countries face to which is so accessible in the UK. This was at quite a young age, around 14/15 and I would say this sparked my passion for wanting to see other parts of the world in order to understand how different lifestyles can be.
Although I also enjoy visiting places and sunbathing, drinking and socialising I also try and explore locations as much as possible whilst being there. When visiting Costa Rica I challenge myself to a 18 mile hike which climbed 4142ft, at the time this was one of the hardest things I had faced. Yet the adrenaline after this hike for my own mind was out the roof, the fact I could say I completed the hike through the heat of the Costa Rican jungle is something I will never forget.
